Today I am writing from Spain. I spent the night last night with my good friends Graham and Chris in Middleton, England and I was off early this morning for Spain. After landing I have touched the ground beginning a week of New Covenant Realities with the G42 students. I had a great weekend with my friends and church family in Clay Cross. God’s presence is wonderful in accompaniment with the presence of His people. I am looking forward to all that God is going to do this week.

Today I am writing a reminder of the mandate of God upon us as people who know God. God is good and He really does love us! Part of His love for us is revealed in His amazing gift of purpose. What is our purpose in this world? As members of the body of Christ we are each a part of the riches of God’s inheritance. Our destiny is to walk in the calling of Christ. That calling is to bring life to this world and to the generations of men. Jesus came to restore this purpose to the footsteps of our lives. The mandate for redeemed mankind is to be fruitful, multiply, fill, subdue, and have dominion in this earth (Gen. 1:28). Without the hope of Christ within our lives we were bound to the limitations of being fruitful, multiplying, and filling (Gen. 9:1). Jesus was God’s gift to restore our ability to subdue and have dominion in and through our lives. He did this by restoring us to a relationship with God and the testimony of that relationship that flows from within us (Jn. 7:37-39). There are streams of life-giving water that flow from our hearts and those streams are the testimony of Christ’s anointing and life to the world (Rev. 22:1-5).

Today I want to take a look at the original purpose of man in order to understand this powerful life-giving testimony that has been bought back for us in Christ. In the original creation man was formed from the dust of the earth (Gen. 2:7). After the creation of man, God planted a garden and put man in it. I believe that man was created in the barrenness of the earth and then placed in a paradise environment in order to know God’s potential and man’s purpose in the earth. Man would know the God of the garden so that He could bring the fruitfulness of the God of the garden to the barrenness of the earth.

Genesis 2:7-9

Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.  The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.  Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:15-17

Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.  The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”

Notice that the emphasis in the garden was not a DON’T EAT the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It was one of EATING OF EVERY TREE of the garden, except one. All of the trees were pleasing to sight and good for food and only one would lead to death.

I have purposely left out verses 10-14 of this chapter, because I want to reveal a mystery of the mandate found within these verses.  The garden was a place called Eden, a name meaning, “desirable, pleasure, or delight”. This is the place of man’s existence with God. I can’t relate to the Garden of Eden, but I can relate to the day I accepted Christ. I knew the barrenness of my past and I also knew the wonder of a newfound relationship with God. I knew the pain of my past, but I also new the joy of knowing God in my heart. This was a good mix for understanding my purpose in the earth. Like Adam, I knew within that I was to bring the life of the God of the garden to the barrenness of the world around me.

Genesis 2:10-14

Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers. The name of the first is Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. The gold of that land is good; the bdellium and the onyx stone are there. The name of the second river is Gihon; it flows around the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Tigris; it flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

There was a river that flowed out of Eden and that river divided into four streams. Four is a number significant of “covenant” and God’s desire has always been that His covenant be established with men throughout the whole world. I believe that God’s covenant purpose for the world can be found in these four rivers that flowed from Eden. Those streams were that of the Pishon, the Havilah, The Gihon, and the Euphrates. I believe that these four rivers reveal keys to our purpose in the earth. They are the same as the four keys found in the covenant of Abraham and they are secrets to the fulfillment of our purpose in the world. I believe these streams hold a mystery to the beliefs, actions, imaginations, and influence of men in the earth.

The first is the river Pishon. This is also written as Pison in some translations. This name and variations of this name are found in the following examples:

Pison (pi’-son) = “great diffusion (of waters); flowing stream; (root = push; to frisk; to disperse; to multiply), “spread abroad, increase.”

Pison – “changing; extension of the mouth”

Pithom – “their mouthful; a dilatation of the mouth”

Pithon – “mouthful; persuasion”

This first river flows around the whole land of Havilah, a name meaning, “bringing forth; trembling (with pain); circle; (root = pang; pain; sorrow; especially of a pregnant woman). “To declare to her – Havilah that suffers pain; that brings forth.”

As you can see, this river denotes a confession of the mouth. I believe that it is significant to the believing in our hearts and the confession of our mouths (Rom. 10:10). This river flows to the place of pain and causes a change for life. I believe it correlates to the place of BELIEF and it is the river that BRINGS CHANGE or INCREASE. In the place of knowing God (Eden), our beliefs are empowered to be a blessing of life to the world.  As was the promise to Abraham, in blessing God will bless us. We are a blessing to the glory of God in bringing the change of increasing life to the world we live in.

The second river found in Eden was the river Gihon, a name meaning, “a great breaking forth, (of waters); a river, to gush forth,” as “a valley of grace”.

This river flowed around the whole land of Cush, a name meaning, blackness, a black countenance; full of darkness; black; roots = [1] to scorch; [2] the countenance.

I believe that this river brings a breaking forth of God’s grace. It brings the action of life. I believe it is significant of life-giving ACTIONS that awaken darkness to light. Like the promise to Abraham, this river brings the power of life-giving multiplication to the world. In the place of knowing God (Eden) our ACTIONS bring an awakening unto life to the world.

The third river found in Eden was the Tigris, also translated as the Hiddekel, a name meaning, “the rapid swift; the rapid Tigris; a sharp voice, a sharp sound”. This river flowed east of Assyria, a land meaning, “a step; (root = to go straight on; to be fortunate); lifted up; exalted; level plain.”

I believe that this river brings increase and momentum. It is a river that implies an ability to move forward with acceleration. This life stream brings increase and momentum beyond what was. In the place of knowing God (Eden) we can be assured of things beyond our present plateaus. Like the promise to Abraham this river causes our descendants to possess the gates of their enemies. Life-focused thinking activates our God-given IMAGINATIONS to know that God brings increase beyond the heights of today. He is able to do exceedingly beyond all that we can ask or think, according to His power that works within us (Eph. 3:20).

The final river was the river Euphrates, a name meaning, “fruitfulness; fruitful; the fertile river”; (root = to bear fruit), “that makes fruitful”.

This river brings the influence of God’s fruitfulness to the world. In the place of knowing God (Eden), we can know that the fruitfulness of knowing Him will INFLUENCE the world we live in by bringing the fullness of life to all of our surroundings. Like the promise of Abraham, in the seed of Christ all the families of the world will be blessed.

It is time to taste and see that God is really good. Let’s live from the presence of God with an increasing understanding of knowing Him. We are anointed to bring God’s life transforming BELIEFS, ACTIONS, IMMAGINATIONS, and INFLUENCE to the world! Knowing Him will bring His life-giving change and increase, life-giving actions to awaken darkness to light, life-focused thinking for increased beginnings beyond the heights of today, and the fullness of life to bring life to the world we live in.

At Abundant Life Church, Bellingham

I hope you all are well. Today I am writing from Bellingham. We have started our new session of School of Eagles and have had an awesome start. God is good and His presence and revelation has been with us in our sessions. Yesterday was a great time in our home church of Abundant Life.

Let me continue to expound on the LIMITLESS destiny that God has for us in this unfolding season. We are the riches of God’s inheritance in Christ (Eph. 1:18). Life is not about what we receive as an inheritance from God, but what we release in this earth as His inheritance. Inheritance is to be manifested, released, and increased for the testimony of who God is and His increasing grace in the generations of men. This inheritance is not to be received and spent on our own selves.  It is not something that is attached to any one individual, but rather what each and every individual contributes to for the corporate testimony of the body of Christ. We are each a part of the riches of the inheritance of God and our purpose is to supply life to every joining part within the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:16

…from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

We are a part of one another for the purpose and the glory of God. We were born to supply life to others that we might be a part of the testimony of God in the earth. We are part of His inheritance and who we are is essential to the full testimony of God in the earth. The working of each one of us causes growth and strength to the whole body. Every joint of the body supplies life to its joining part and to the body as a whole. What does it mean to supply life to one another? This word for “supplies” in the above Scripture text is the Greek word “epichoregia” (GSRN2024) and it means, “a supply”. It comes from the Greek word “epichoregeo” (GSRN2023), meaning, “to supply”. The roots of this word are “epi” (GSRN1909), meaning “on” or “upon” and the Greek word “choregeo” (GSRN5524), meaning “to lead a chorus (i.e. a group of performers), or to defray the cost of a chorus”. This word finds its etymology in the Greek word “choros” (GSRN5525), meaning “a dance” or “chorus” and the Greek word “ago”(GSRN71) meaning “to lead, bring or carry”. Can you see the essence of this word? Each joint of the body literally causes its joining members to contribute to the chorus or the dance of the testimony of Christ. Each joint induces it joining members to sing and dance the song of life! Each part makes it possible for full testimony of Christ to happen.

We are the riches of Christ’s inheritance in the earth. We no longer live for ourselves, as do those in the world. People in the world aren’t fulfilling their true purpose. They think life is about themselves and what they might get in this life. They simply don’t understand true destiny and thus their understanding is darkened. They’re missing out on the life that God has for them because they are too busy ignoring Him. Their hearts are closed to the real meaning of life and thus they are caught up in how things affect themselves. They are not concerned with how their life affects God and others. This is how we have all acted, but there is a great destiny for us in Christ. We are the riches of God’s inheritance and we were called to bring glory to His name.

Ephesians 4:17-24

So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.

But you did not learn Christ in this way,

if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus,

that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Jesus paid the price to reconcile all men to God. He willingly endured the punishment of the cross to free us all from the futility of death. At the age of inheritance He was cut off from the land of the living, but His focus was set upon the inheritance of His Father. He was determined to justify many and heal the iniquities of men. Although it looked as though His short journey in this earth appeared to lack success, His resurrection from the dead declared His significance to all men throughout all generations. The grave could not hold Him and thus He loosed the power of eternal life to all men.

Isaiah 53:8 -12

By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered that He was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?

His grave was assigned with wicked men, yet He was with a rich man in His death, because He had done no violence, nor was there any deceit in His mouth.

But the LORD was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.

As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; by His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, as He will bear their iniquities.

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the booty with the strong; because He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors.

We are the riches of God’s inheritance. We were barren, but now we are the fruitful generations of God. There is no limit to the enlargement of our destiny as the weight of the Father’s influence and the substance of His person in this world (Heb. 1:3). We will possess the nations for God’s glory! We will resettle desolate cities with the abundant life of God found in Christ!

Isaiah 54:1-3

“Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD.

Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs.

For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities.

It is great to be a part of the calling of Christ! It is an unbelievable destiny to be a part of the riches of Christ’s inheritance! The possibilities are once again LIMITLESS in Him!

Greetings;

Today I am writing from Trail, British Columbia, Canada. We have had a great time this weekend as God has moved in a very special way. It was wonderful to see the love of God ambush such wonderful, hungry people! Thank you to my friends in Trail and all who came from the surrounding area for such a time. Many blessings to all that God is doing in the Kootenays.

I am again stirred by the prophetic word of God for 2012. This is a season with LIMITLESS possibilities. God is able to do exceedingly beyond all that we can ask or think according to His power that works in us (Eph. 3:20). Christ in us is the hope of the weight of our heavenly Father’s influence and the substance of His person in this world. God wants each of us to find our place of favor in Him for the sake of advancing His family name!

Once again, in order to move forward in this LIMITLESS season we must know three things in our paradigm of thinking:

1. God is really good and He loves us

2. His love is a revelation, not merely a command

3. We aren’t wrestling with God, He is wrestling with us because He knows who we are

With this foundation of life we can find our place of God’s favor and what that looks like for the lives of those God joins us to in life. We are called to the hope of Christ’s calling and we are the riches of the inheritance of God in the earth! Let’s embrace this challenge even as the apostle Paul prayed on behalf of the first century church of Ephesus.

Ephesians 1:18, 19a

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe…

What does it mean to be called to the hope of Christ’s calling? What was His calling? The apostle John testified that Jesus came to this world to destroy the works of the devil (1 Jn. 3:8). What are the works of the devil? We know that he is a thief and he is the source of the spirit of every lie that comes to steal, kill, and destroy the lives of human beings in this world, but the calling of Jesus Christ was and is to bring life, and that life more abundant (Jn. 10:10). That life is the fullness of eternal life and eternal life is to know God and Jesus Christ whom He sent (Jn. 17:3). The secret for destroying the works of the devil is found in the life that God brings. Knowing God brings us the fullness of life and that life eradicates the effects of death. His calling was to bring the life of knowing God to the world we live in. This is part of our commission in the calling of Christ. We were born to bring the life of knowing God to the world in which we live!

What happens when we bring the life of God to the world? We have been submerged in anointing from heaven to bring the blessings of heaven to the world! That anointing is one of good news to the most destitute. It brings liberty for those who are bound and imprisoned. It releases healing to the broken hearted. We have an anointing to announce the reality of debts forgiven and inheritances restored to all humanity. That same news releases a power to destroy the enemies of men. It is a grace of comfort to those who mourn for loss in this world and console those who have suffered for hope in His name. This anointing restores each one’s destiny of beauty, joy, and testimony of praise. The life of God causes the generations of men to be in a right relationship with God and men. It restores the power of life, the throne of life and the authority of life to all generations. It is a perpetual plan of amazing grace and abundant life!

Isaiah 61:1-4

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn,

to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.”

The calling of Christ is one of reconciliation. Christ died in the flesh so that we could all live in the Spirit. Our life is found in Him and it is for Him. We are no longer bound to the limitations of self and have been released to the liberty of knowing God in all things. We are new creations in Christ and our calling is found in the calling of Christ. We are ministers of reconciliation sent to those we touch in this world. God is not angry, but madly passionate for the lost of the world. He is calling His children home because His forgiveness leads to repentance, belonging leads to believing, and reconciliation leads to understanding the love of God in the lives of men. Our calling is to remove the shame from a world that is no longer condemned and to bring freedom from sin to a world no longer bound to the degradation of a disconnection from God. We are called to reveal the purposes of God in the lives of humanity (Isa. 6:1-8).

2 Corinthians 5:14

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;

and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We are the riches of His inheritance and who we are defines us, not what we do. We will do great things, because of who we are. We are the body of Christ and it is time for the LIMITLESS glory of God to be revealed in the earth! Let’s find our place of favor in Christ and bring His life and grace to the world in which we live! Let’s embrace the hope of His calling and bring life to the barren places of this world!

Let me first give my thanks and blessings to my friends in Deming, New Mexico for a wonderful weekend of God’s presence and testimony. I believe in all that He released these past few days and I know that this is a LIMITLESS season of God’s increasing glory!

What should our perspective be as we journey in this year of 2012? Should we be concerned with the recessions of the world? Is our focus to be the end of the world or the end of life as it has been? I believe there is a shift in our earth, because there is an open door for great blessings from heaven. It is time that we decree the things in heaven to be the realities in the earth. God sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, to redeem humanity from the limitations of the curse and grant them the LIMITLESS blessings of His heavenly glory. We were barren, but not we have been given the fruitfulness of God in LIMITLESS measures. We were desolate, but now we will see an abundance of life. We are people who have been given a great heritage with a great destiny in this life. It is not time to shrink back! It is time the boundaries of our dwellings to expand. It is time for our spheres of living and our spheres of influence to increase! God’s promise to us is that we will spread abroad from wherever we are and that our descendants will possess the nations. Religion is not destined to win in this earth, but life is! Relationship with God is on the rise!

Our relationship with God is one of children to a Father and a wife to a loving Husband. You see, He sees us as His family. He is the one who loves us and He is really good. We need to live with an increasing revelation of His love for us and for the nations. We don’t need to fear, because we will not be put to shame. As God’s children we must know that we will not be humiliated. We will not be disgraced. Though we have all felt the things of loss at some time, God is good at all times. We have not been forsaken and this is a season to know that God is our friend. He is not just our Maker, He is the lover of our souls. He is not just the Holy One, He is the one who paid the price to bring us close to Him. We can trust His compassion because He is good and He loves us! The God of all the earth is our friend!

Isaiah 54:4-8

“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; and do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; but you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.

For your husband is your Maker, whose name is the LORD of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, who is called the God of all the earth.

For the LORD has called you, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says your God.

For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you.

In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loving kindness I will have compassion on you,” Says the LORD your Redeemer.“

We are living in days that are like the days of Noah. What happened in the days of Noah? The things of death were removed and the friends of God were preserved. God is not interested in bringing a flood like in the days of Noah to judge the flesh of men. He wants to reveal His loving kindness by transforming flesh through the testimony of His grace. This is a time to know that there is no gap between God and us, because He has given us His covenant of peace. He revealed our true value by sending is only begotten Son to reconcile us to Him as our Father. Our value is that of sons. Our value is that of daughters. We are the children of God and He is not angry with us. Let’s announce the good news to the nations! God is the Father of all men and He is calling us to the true place of life!

Isaiah 54:9, 10

“For this is like the days of Noah to Me, when I swore that the waters of Noah would not flood the earth again; so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you nor will I rebuke you.

For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My loving kindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” Says the LORD who has compassion on you.

This year promises LIMITLESS testimonies, because God’s love for us is LIMITLESS in all measures. We can expect to be revealed for who we really are. We are the treasures of God born to bring glory to His name. Each of us reveals who He is in a unique and special way. We are precious to God and He is precious to us! This is good news for modern man! Though things may appear to be one thing, all things will work out for our good. No weapon formed against us will prosper, for we are children of God! God is the giver of blessings, not the assailer of judgment. His wrath was poured out upon the One Man, Jesus Christ, that all men might know His mercy and grace!

Isaiah 54:11-17

“O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires.

Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones.

What an awesome day with the family of God in church! It was great to be home for the weekend here in Bellingham. Pastor Jonathan and the congregation of Abundant Life rock! It is great to be a part of such a wonderful family!

I wrote a blog a couple of weeks ago in regard to this being a year that is LIMITLESS in its possibilities. I released another prophetic dimension of that yesterday in church. I can’t help but resound this word again for our expectations of 2012. The present season of God’s grace is going to be LIMITLESS!

We have been given an amazing gift through the love of God. Whether we are Jews by our generations or some other nation that did not have the promises of God, we have all been given access to know God by the gift of His grace. We are blessed in every way, because God is very good and He loves people. As we face this new season of 2012 let’s first remember who God is so we can come to know who we are in Him. He is the Father of all men and He wants us to know the power of His love!  God paid the price of our value through the gift of His only begotten Son in order to give us a revelation of our true value to Him. He is our Father and we are His children. Being a child of God doesn’t give us a Father, God as our Father makes us children of God. The testimony of who He is reveals the truth of who He is. God is good and He loves people!

The apostle Paul prayed an amazing prayer for the church of Ephesus in regard to this revelation of who God is towards men.

Ephesians 3:14

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Because God is our Father, we can know that our future is limitless in its possibilities. We can be strengthened in our inner man through a revelation of God’s love. We cannot possibly comprehend the width, the length, the height, or the depth of His love to us.  The one who loves us is able to do exceedingly beyond all that we can even ask or think and He is God! God is our Father! He is not just a sovereign being who is in control of the universe. He is the passionate Father who loves us as His children. By this we can know that all of the possibilities in our lives are limitless.

When we face the unknown God wants to show us His amazing options. When we can’t see the answers, why do we say that God doesn’t care? God is our Father and He really does care! He doesn’t grow weary like men. He is steadfast in His love toward us and we can know that His love is limitless towards us. He gives strength to us even when we are weary. He gives might when we are helpless. Even the youngest of men grow weary and lose heart, but not God! He is our Father and He loves us! He will give us strength. In 2012 it is time to wait upon the Lord. Don’t wait for Him to do something, get intimate with Him and expect Him to be who He is! Our relationship with Him will prove to give us new strength and we will become those that others will seek to follow in the path of life.

Isaiah 40:27-31

Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly,

Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.

God is able do abundantly beyond all that we can ask, so let’s get intimate with Him and ask. He is able to do exceedingly beyond all that we can even think, so let’s get intimate with Him and receive the mind of Christ. This is His year and we are the children of God!

Today I am headed home after a great weekend with wonderful hungry people in the Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. It was a real blessing seeing God move in a loving and powerful way. Thanks so much for those of you who were in the meetings. I know that God is up to good things in Canada!

As we progress forward in this new year there is a growing expectation in my heart as to what God is going to do. Not everything will be wonderful in 2012, but God is going to reveal Himself as wonderful in our lives as we let Him. In Christ the possibilities are LIMITLESS (Eph. 3:20).

In order for us to see all that God desires to do we must approach this year with three revelations in our hearts. The first is that God is really good and He loves us. The second is that love is a revelation, not a command. The third necessary revelation is that our wrestle is not with man. We are not wrestling with ourselves or anyone else of human nature. As a matter of fact, we are not the ones who have chosen to wrestle. God has come into our lives to wrestle with us! He hasn’t come to destroy us, but to cause us to manifest for who we really are. With these three revelations in our hearts we can know that God is going to do unbelievable things in our lives in this season.

If we have these three revelations firm in our hearts we can face this new year with a confidence of knowing who our heavenly Father is in a greater way. As my pastor Jonathan Hanson says: “Knowing Father and who you are in relationship with Him is everything!” The more we know Him, the more we will discover who we are in Christ.

When we discover who we are in Christ the future is limitless. The possibilities are limitless, the testimonies are limitless, and even the seasons are limitless (2 Cor.3:17-18). God likes who we are and He wants us to find our favor place in Him in 2012. Destiny is not at the end of the road, but is rather the journey of the road. When we live in the reality of who we are we find there are new blessings every day.

God wants us all to succeed in discovering and living in the reality of who we are.  There is a good example of a massive failure in the Scriptures that I believe can encourage us to embrace who we each really are. That failure is seen through the examples of two kings. One is the king of Tyre and the other is the king of Babylon. In the testimonies of these two kings there is a very obvious inference to what I believe to be the true spirit of each of the kings being addressed. I believe they are each a testimony to the fallen foe we know of as Satan or the Devil. I believe in his original creation he was a covering cherub who refracted and reflected the expression of God as the Word through God’s frequencies of light, rhythm, and sound. Simply said, his very being was meant to magnify every expression of God in a powerful way.

Let me begin by outlining some of the attributes of this awesome created being, before he failed to hold on to his created identity (Ezekiel 28:12-19):

• He was a morning star (Lucifer in the Latin Script – “refractor” or “reflector of light”) and he was in the place of his assignment for each “new day”
• His very being was gifted to reveal the manifest attributes of God in beauty
• He was sensitive to the Spirit, for he was full of wisdom and thus he must have sensed the coming things of God
• He was a covering cherub of perfection with an authority to reveal who God is as the Word
• His habitation was the desirable place of God (Eden, meaning “desirable place”)
• He was created to reflect and refract the manifold attributes of God to the environment around him as a creature filled with precious stones refracting light
• The rhythm (heart beat) and sound of the corporate purposes of God were refracted through his being to each new day as a creature filled with timbrels and pipes
• He was anointed to magnify God as Most High from the mountain of God
• He was created to live in the passion of God’s presence, with a passion for God’s presence and His corporate purposes as one who walked among the fiery stones
• He was “as God made him” with no need for jealousy, envy, or covetousness

I believe that with this description we can conclude that this creature should have been greatly blessed to be who God made him to be. In this Scripture we find that “Iniquity” was found in him (Ezekiel. 28:15). A weakness to rebel was in his heart. I believe that iniquity was one of wanting to be someone he was not created to be. His rejection of God’s favor place upon his life caused him to become profane and perverted in his identity. He didn’t like who he really was so he traded his identity for a lie. He became a lier and is thus the father of lies. He became a deceiver and thus he drew others to his personal cause. He became a devourer and thus he detested the corporate plan to live for others. He became a creature of conflict and thus he separated from the place of corporate purpose in magnifying God.

What was the plan that led to his failure? I believe that the testimony of the fall of the king of Babylon infers to the fall of this father of lies. In Isaiah 14:12-15 we find:

• His original purpose was to bring light for a new day – It was a daily process, and thus he was a morning star.
• His problem was one of failing for the sake of pride. Instead of being humble, he was humbled. He didn’t like who he was created to be, thus he set the stage to become a perversion of his true identity.
• His product was that of becoming a taker, not a giver. Rather than live for others he sought to live for himself with bargains of trade.
• His process to failure was two-fold. He didn’t give his heart to the corporate purposes of God, and he exhibited an independent spirit.
• His plan for failure was walked out in a 3-fold measure:

• I will ascend – I am my own god – I am doing what I am doing for my life

• I will exalt my throne –  I am my own person
• He found his identity in what he did – He identified in what he did, not who he was

• I will sit above – domination of others through isolation
• Non-relational – (not accountable) he didn’t induce others to dance

• The ultimate presence revealed through his life was that of “self”. His desire of “self” revealed him as that which was as far from God as you can get. His demise is the pit, an eternal reality apart from God.

What can we learn from this example of failure? God likes who we are and our ultimate destiny is to live our lives for the glory of God. That destiny is a journey and not merely a destination at the end of the road. Who we are reveals who He is and brings glory to His name. Let’s implement the following strategy of nobility in 2012:

1.  Purpose —  We must live to bring light for every new day; it’s a daily process.
2.  Proclamation  — We must live to be who you are and like who you are, God does!
3.  Product — We will be a givers of life to others.
4.  Process to significance:

• 1.  We will give your heart to the corporate purposes of God.
• 2.  We will exhibited an interdependent spirit, not one of independence.

5.  Plan  - Our plan for success is was walked out in a 3-fold measure:

• We will lead others to confess – “God is my God”.
• We will lead others to exhibit  – ”We are God’s people”.
• We will lead others into relational function – “We live together”.

6.  Presence revealed – We will manifest the glory of the Father (Heb. 1:3).

With this in mind, all things are LIMITLESS in 2012!

Many blessings to every one of you as you have entered into this new year! I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in this fresh season. I have a great expectation in my spirit! As we consider this year let’s be open to all that God wants to do.

I believe that God is going to reveal Himself in a very big way this year. He is able to do exceedingly beyond all that we can even ask or think! What does that look like? The one who loves us is able to do more than we can even imagine or think! Today God impressed a prophetic word in my spirit for 2012. That word is “LIMITLESS”. I can’t even imagine what that may look like as God reveals His amazing grace in our lives! It is a season to move forward because God is who He is! He is our Father and we are His children in this world! It is only through a knowing of Him as our Father that we are able to know who we really are as His children. There is purpose in that and there is great destiny! That purpose is not because He has great things for us to do, but because of How great He is and how great we are because of Him.

The third chapter of the book of Ephesians reveals a wonderful truth. Whether we are Jews or Gentiles, we have been brought near to God by the blood of Jesus Christ. He made a covenant for us that we should all be called children of God! We all find ourselves standing in a place of God’s favor! There is no enmity between Him and us! We are a spiritual house for God to inhabit in this earth and He is our eternal house to inhabit through the halls of eternity!

Following this wonderful truth in the third chapter of Ephesians we find a prayer that Paul the apostle prayed concerning Christ’s expanding body of habitation.

I believe that God wants to reveal who He is in this season in an unprecedented way. He’s not a nonperson power of sovereignty. He is our Father and He has invested Himself in our lives through the gift of His Son. He wants us to receive a revelation of His love. What does the width, the length, the height, and the depth of God in His love look like? Are you ready for a revelation of His love? It is only by knowing Him as Father that we can truly come to know the power of His unsurpassable love! A revelation of God’s love will fill us with the fullness of who He is!

Ephesians 3:20, 21

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,

to Him is the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

God is our Father and we should not be afraid to ask anything of Him. It is not our will, but His that needs to be done. It is not our will, but a revelation of Him in His love will make us come to trust that His will is better than anything we could ask or think without Him. Can we allow God to stir our asking? Can we ask God to activate your imagination?  Do we understand that our imagination is determined by the imagination of a Father who loves us? Do we know that our thinking can be motivated by the thoughts of a really good Father who loves us from His heavenly eternity and He wants to reveal His thoughts in our earthly humanity?

I believe a revelation of who He is will reveal not only a trust of Him, but also a trust of who we are in Him and because of Him. The voice of God is behind us and He is saying it is time to move forward!

I will write more on this in the days to come, but the word of 2012 is, “LIMITLESS”!
