Greetings;
Well, here we are in 2012. I believe we have entered into a new season of discovering who God truly is. In discovering who God is we will also come to know who we are in this world. We were born for such a time as this!
What does this new year have to bring prophetically? The year of 2011 was one of ‘transition’. I believe that 2012 will be a year of the testimony of the Father’s love. That love is not merely a testimony of emotion; it is a demonstration of His actions. The Father wants to reveal who we really are!
We are in the midst of a “grassroots revolution”. That revolution is not as the world would perceive it to be. There are many things shaking, falling, turning over, and transitioning in the world. Those things are the evidence of change, but they are not the true mark of eternal change. There is a war waging against the headships of legalism and promiscuity. We can even see these things in the natural as dictatorships tumble and liberalism erodes. The backlash is a striking out of controlling and manipulating powers. I believe that both legalism and promiscuity are rooted in bitterness based upon judgments of the flesh. They manifest as unholy fire that can never be satisfied, because it lives to take in order to thrive. These are fires of judgment and they are locked within the boundaries of time. They can only be eradicated by the eternal power of God’s grace and love moving within the hearts of men.
God wants to write upon us His new name. That name is the name of the Father. A true heavenly revolution can only transpire when each one understands that they are children of God. God is our Father and His testimony is seen as His life flowing through us as the place of God’s habitation in the earth. The testimony of one God through us all must be the strength of His community seen in the earth. The speech of the Father must become the speaking of the children. The word of the Father must become the testimony of the family of God in the earth. Only through diversity can we find the oneness of the Father’s love. He is neither legalism nor promiscuity. He is holy and true! There is nothing lacking and nothing needed in Him and there is nothing empty or nothing vain revealed through Him. This is the testimony of who He is and He wants to reveal who we are in this world. The word became flesh so that flesh could become a testimony of His word! We will not search for love in any other place, for with Him we are the life of His kingdom in the earth. God wants us to be filled with all of the glory of heaven here on earth and He wants us to know the crown of life in all of our trials.
Like the church of Philadelphia, we are on the brink of receiving the testimony of true brotherly love. As Jesus was so we can be and our testimony can be one that is holy and true. Like king David, we must reconcile our accounts. We must go vertical and see that God is the center of our own worlds. We must reconcile our good moments, our God moments, and our not so good moments and count them as nothing in the light of His mercy and grace. God wants to open the covenant doors of love to us. Love is a revelation, not a command and God wants to give us a revelation of His love so we can move forward as one in 2012.
Let’s let the things that are locked in the realm of time fall away. These are not the things that are of faith. Faith is found freely in the realm of God’s eternal life. Faith only works by a revelation of God’s love. When we let go of the things that are not the true testimony of His life, we can become a testimony of His life. We can be a part of His true grassroots revolution of life in this earth.
Revelation 3:7-13
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true, ‘He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
Because you have kept my command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Let’s become a revelation of the Father’s love in 2012. The things that are not of Him will bow to the manifested testimony of Him in our lives. We must not fix our eyes upon the trials we are in, we must fix our eyes upon the one who loves us through every trial. We must not look at the things that are falling in the world, we must look to the increasing testimony of God’s life and presence among us in the earth. We must become the steadfast ones who know His steadfast love in all things. We must become the glory of His nature, character, way, power, and authority in our testimonies and our revealing of His community of life in the earth. God is our Father and we are His children, upon this revelation we can move forward in 2012.
Blessings,

On a more personal level, for the past 2 weeks the spirit has been dealing with me on
what are our eyes fixed upon. I have been guilty of looking at the have nots in my life rather then the haves. This caused in me a since of despair and hopelessness that I wasen’t even aware of until by the holy spirit I changed my focus. When I began to view all that I had been given, despair and hopelessness gave way to thanksgiving and joy. A greater faith began to birth in me and healing began to manifest in my body. Suddenly my confession became “This is a good life, and I have all the things I need.” This I believe is being felt corporately. As we move into the New Year this good life will be seen by all and perhaps the world will notice and flock to our borders.
