New Covenant Ministry
Greetings to you all;
It's a new season and spring is in the air! I have just started our 2008 Intensified Ministry Training School. One of our objectives is to expose our students to an understanding of New Covenant ministry. We are seeing some awesome things happen as the Holy Spirit moves in the lives of individuals within the classroom. It is not the words of instruction that touch the depths of the human soul. It is the life of Christ's Spirit! One word from the Holy Spirit has the power to transform a life.
In the Old Covenant God brought light to darkness to reveal the need of Christ's true light of life. In the New Covenant light shines out of darkness to reveal the transforming power of Christ's light (2 Cor. 4:6). It is Christ in us that is the hope of glory! It is not Christ to us that makes a difference, but rather the power of Christ within! In the Old Covenant there were miracles of various healings, multiplications, deliverances, provisions, and even resurrections from the dead. The power of God to the lives of individuals was evident, but God's power to transform the hearts and minds of men was only a distant hope. It was a covenant that took people by the hand and led them. The New Covenant is a covenant that writes God's character, nature, way, power, and authority upon the hearts and minds of men (Jer. 31:31-34).
Is it possible to operate in an Old Covenant manner in a New Covenant time? Are we seeking God's power or are we seeking intimacy with God in Christ? Is life about power, or is life about relationship? Relationship is not about telling others what to do, but rather empowering others to become who they are in Christ. Because He lives, we live! It is not because God is powerful, but because a powerful God is committed to our lives. This mind-set must be in the family of God. Life is not about knowing what to do, but rather about living for the fullness of true life.
Our objective is not to take people by the hand and lead them, but to facilitate the life-changing power of Christ within the lives of those who hear. We are called to ministers of reconciliation. We are called to connect people to their Father in heaven. The Spirit of the Lord is not upon us to set people free, but to plant free people in relationship with God (Isa. 61:1-3). We are anointed to free people that they might be planted in a living relationship with the God of their lives! We are called, appointed, and anointed to activate, facilitate, and release men and women to their destinies in Christ! This is the power of New Covenant Ministry.
May God bless you richly in this spring-time season of life. God spoke to me one day while I was driving down the road. He said, "Grace is the evidence that I live in your house son, and peace is the evidence that you live in Mine!" May grace and peace be multiplied to you from the eternal Christ of heaven who lives in you!

Having been a student at School of Eagles I can only say the experience was profound and has changed my relationship with my Lord and also with the body of believers where God has placed my husband and I. I also received a deeper appreciation of the Bible and all that it has to offer. The class on Bible Study Methods and the class on Interpretation opened God's word to me in a new way. A fellow student of the class said it best when she said, " I quit reading the Bible because after so many years and so many times it was boring. But, I think maybe it says more then I thought it did." The school was hard, but, the personal reward was beyond the benefit of this life and my own circle of influence. It was a large rock thrown into a lake that ripples and ripples. So, I thank God, Pastor Ted for his obedience and Abundant Life for the opportunity to be all God says I can be.

Zee;
Thanks for the comment. It was great having you as a student and an anointed minister in our congregation. The students will appreciate your prayers. We are just at the stage where they look like 'deer under headlights'.
Blessings to you,
Pastor Ted
